My Journey
From Tech Enthusiast
to Team Leader
As a kid, I was always taking apart broken electronics, eager to understand how they worked. That curiosity evolved into a love for technology, leading me to study Computer Science at TU Delft and Haagse Hogeschool. I started my career as a mobile developer, transitioned into web development, and ultimately took on leadership roles.
What’s interesting is that I never aimed to be a leader. My passion was always centered around creating and solving problems. But along the way, I encountered leaders who showed me the deeper impact that leadership can have. I learned that beyond building technology, leadership is about building people, guiding teams, and creating an environment where innovation can thrive. I began to embrace this role, and I’ve never looked back.
Today, as a Tech Lead, I focus on balancing technical innovation with empowering people. I lead teams through complex projects, aligning technology with business strategy while fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. I’m a strong believer in the saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” It’s a constant dilemma I navigate—balancing the need for speed with the importance of getting far as a unified team.
In my work, I strive to bring both speed and longevity to the projects I lead. I’m passionate about building solutions that last, while also creating space for rapid, agile innovation. Whether it's mentoring individuals or coaching teams to self-manage, I take pride in helping others unlock their potential.
Though I’ve come a long way since my days of tinkering with broken gadgets, that same sense of curiosity still drives me. I love learning, exploring new ideas, and pushing boundaries—both in technology and in how we work together. If you're ready to grow, innovate, and create something meaningful, I’d love to collaborate. Let’s get there together.
